Oh boy, Maya Erskine’s got some news, and it’s big! She’s expanding her squad. Yep, the “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” star and her hubby, Michael Angarano (you know, the actor), are all set to welcome baby number two this summer. “Coming this summer,” she teases. How cryptic yet exciting, right?
So, Maya took to Instagram, the go-to for celebs sharing life updates. She posted this adorable pic of herself in a sleek black dress, proudly showing off her baby bump. And there’s Michael, all smiles, cradling her from behind. But wait, there’s more to this story. It’s not just any baby. It’s a baby girl! “Baby sister coming this summer 🌸💕🐣,” Maya shared, dropping the gender reveal like it’s hot.

Flashback to 2021, and we find Maya and Michael, the “Blue Eye Samurai” and “Oppenheimer” stars, respectively, welcoming their first child, a boy named Leon Frederick. It’s like déjà vu because back in November 2020, they were all, “When 2 becomes 3,” announcing their first pregnancy. And guess what? Maya rocked a similar fashion vibe for her second pregnancy reveal, opting for a fitted black ensemble again but swapping pants for a dress this time. Leopard print pants made her first announcement outfit a tad spicier, though.
The lovebirds went IG official back in September 2019. Michael shared a selfie from that year’s Emmy Awards, where fate had them seated right behind each other. Talk about a Hollywood meet-cute! Both were in the running for awards—Michael for his guest role in “This Is Us” and Maya for her writing chops in “PEN15.” Michael’s caption was all kinds of adorable: “ohhh look who it is sitting right behind me completely randomly at an awards show in which we were both nominated who i also happen to be in love with.”
