February this year brought whispers about Adam Driver and Joanne Tucker. The acting duo was rumored to be expanding their family.
The gossip mill started churning when the couple was seen in New York City. Joanne, it seemed, was sporting a baby bump.
Fast forward a few months, and the Ferrari star dropped a bombshell. During a dress rehearsal for Saturday Night Live, he confirmed the arrival of baby number 2.
Adam’s December 9th hosting gig was his fourth time at the helm of the sketch comedy show. During his practice monologue, he joked about his new addition. “Last year, I asked for a baby girl, and I got it, which is exhausting. So this year, I wish for Ambien!” he quipped.
As for the baby’s name and birth date? Those details remain a mystery. This isn’t shocking, given Adam and Joanne’s penchant for privacy. They’re tight-lipped about their personal lives, including their first child, a son.
The couple’s secrecy is nothing new. The birth of their son stayed under wraps for nearly two years. It was only confirmed when Joanne’s sister switched her Instagram from private to public.
Eagle-eyed netizens stumbled upon a post of the sisters, both pregnant, at a baby shower. Fast forward to 2020, and Adam finally opened up about his son during another SNL hosting stint.
He joked, “I’m a husband. And a father. It’s in that order though. I’ve been very clear with my son about that, he’s second in everything.”
