The couple shared the news on Instagram, posting two photos that showcased their happiness and excitement. Alexa, stunning in a sparkling pink jumpsuit that beautifully displayed her growing baby bump, and Carlos, elated, placing his hand on her belly and holding up four fingers to signify their expanding brood.
The couple, parents to two boys and a girl, first became parents in December 2016, with the birth of their son, Ocean King. They welcomed their second son, Kingston James, in June 2019. The couple’s third child, a daughter named Rio Rey, was born in 2021. After announcing the joyful news, Alexa was spotted shopping for baby items on Babylist, with Rio in tow. When asked about her feelings regarding her mother’s impending childbirth, Rio joyfully affirmed her excitement.
On the romantic front, Alexa and Carlos got married in Mexico in 2014. Post their wedding, the couple decided to merge their surnames, thus creating their unique last name, PenaVega. The idea occurred to them when they were at the county office in Ventura County for their license, where they were asked about their preferred surname. Once they decided, the couple exclaimed in unison, ‘We’re PenaVegas!’.
