Last month, Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon, stars from the Bachelor universe, dropped a bombshell. They’re expecting baby number two. The couple, who first locked eyes and fell head over heels in Bachelor in Paradise, spilled the beans on the baby’s gender. They discovered the exciting news on January 17th, amidst the magic of Walt Disney World.
Ashley took to Instagram with a video that captured the moment perfectly. There they were, standing on a balcony, their son Dawson, aged 2, in tow. “Very big moment,” Jared said, anticipation thick in the air. Ashley, clutching 3 cupcakes for the big reveal, confessed, “I’m so nervous.” Jared, curious, asked her, “Boy or girl, what do you think?” Ashley was all over the place. “First, I thought boy, then girl, and now… boy again?” Jared, on the other hand, was team girl.
The plan? Get Dawson to take a bite of the cupcake and unveil the mystery. But, toddlers being toddlers, Dawson wasn’t on board. So, Ashley and Jared took matters into their own hands, and surprise, surprise—it’s a boy! The shock was real. “It’s a boy! Are you kidding me?” Ashley couldn’t believe it. Jared, ever the joker, quipped, “We’re f-cked.”
Back in August, on her podcast Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous, Ashley opened up. She talked about the possibility of another boy and the mixed feelings that came with it. “Having another boy? I’d be thrilled, imagining the brotherly bond they’d share.”
And so, hats off to Ashley and Jared on the arrival of another boy! It’s going to be an adventure, no doubt.
