In the initial months following Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo’s third childbirth, little was revealed about the baby. However, the acclaimed Victoria’s Secret model recently shed some light on their latest family addition on The Mother Daze podcast. Prinsloo disclosed that their first son, who was welcomed into the world in January, arrived “10 days past” his due date. While the baby boy’s name was kept under wraps, it was distinctive news, as the couple already has two daughters, Dusty Rose and Gio Grace.
Prinsloo elaborated on giving birth, sharing how her doctor gave her full control over how she would like things to proceed. Despite feeling good, she declined the option of a water birth. The model defined the birthing process as a “rollercoaster of emotions,” balancing between pain and sheer joy. She also touched upon a snapshot taken by her doula, which showed her laughing just minutes before the birth. Looking back at it, she was amazed at the tunnel vision she was in during the process.
Speaking about Levine’s involvement in the birth, Prinsloo highlighted that he was there every step of the way, assisting under guidance. Adam cut the umbilical cord for their son, as he’d done for his previous children, which was somewhat chaotic due to him being left-handed.
