In a dramatic reveal, Bekah Martinez, former participant of The Bachelor, disclosed that she and her partner Grayston Leonard welcomed their third baby. The announcement came not too long after she initially unveiled her pregnancy news with an elaborate claymation video displayed in the month of April. The tiny new addition to their family, a boy born on September 28th, shares his birthday with Grayston.
Choosing a name for their newborn wasn’t an immediate decision for the couple. After some consideration, they named him Ernest Allison Leonard, a name with familial significance for Bekah. They plan to call him by a shorter name, Nesto. In her social media post, Martinez made no secret of the struggles they had whilst choosing a name for their child, stating that it indeed was a difficult task.
Bekah and Grayston, who started dating from July 2017, now have three children. Their first child, a daughter named Ruth Ray De La Luz, was born in February 2019. Their second, a son they named Franklin James, was welcomed into the world in June 2020.
In addition to the news about the new arrival, Bekah also shared some photographs of her home water birth. She accompanies the images with a light-hearted commentary of how she ended up delivering their baby in their bathroom, almost without the guiding hand of their midwife, followed by a chorus of ‘Happy Birthday’.
