Meanwhile, Cordae took a more open approach by announcing the birth of his daughter, while performing on stage, and divulging her name to fans.
The baby girl, named Shai, was the center of attention as Cordae exclaimed on stage, “Everyone here is like family, and on the subject of family, my daughter Shai was born a few days ago.” This prompted a massive wave of applause and cheer from the crowd, after which Cordae dedicated his performance to Shai, expressing his love for her. In a recent interaction with PEOPLE, Naomi mentioned that they were considering a more unique name rather than opting for traditional ones.
Naomi took to Instagram again to share a glimpse of her baby girl, with photos that carefully concealed Shai’s face. In the first picture, baby Shai is seen snuggled in her mother’s lap, donned in an adorable tennis-themed onesie.
