Last year was quite the whirlwind for country singer Jimmie Allen. He welcomed his fourth baby, marking his third child with his then-wife, Alexis Gale. But wait, there’s more. The “Down Home” singer dropped a bit of a bombshell not too long ago. Turns out, he welcomed twins with another woman just a few months before his third baby with Alexis arrived. “I refuse to let anyone make me feel ashamed of any of my children,” he declared, bold as brass.
Over on Instagram Stories, Jimmie got pretty candid. He shared a bunch of photos, each featuring one of his kids. It was his way of confirming he’s a dad of six, not four. He wrapped up his photo spree with a heartfelt message. “I have 6 kids. I love each one of them. I refuse to let anyone make me feel ashamed of any of my children. The only opinion I care about is theirs.” Talk about a mic drop moment.
And who’s the mystery mom of the twins? Well, Jimmie’s lips are sealed on that one. But here’s what we do know—the twins, named Amari and Aria, made their grand entrance in July 2023. They arrived just three months before Jimmie and Alexis were back in the baby zone, welcoming their son Cohen Ace James. Besides Cohen, the “Best Shot” singer and Alexis share two daughters, Naomi Bettie and Zara James. Oh, and let’s not forget Aadyn, Jimmie’s son from a previous fling.
The plot thickens, though. Back in April 2023, Jimmie and Alexis hit us with a double whammy. They were expecting again but also going their separate ways. “After much thought and reflection in recent months, Lex & I have made the decision to separate,” Jimmie penned. Despite a brief reunion, it seems the couple has since parted ways for good.
