The renowned director of the upcoming movie, Barbie, Greta Gerwig, has announced the arrival of her second child with her partner Noah Baumbach. The news was first shared in December last year, that the couple was expecting another baby. The director recently revealed in her interview with Elle U.K. that her new baby, a boy, was born four months ago.
The joyous news was shared with the audience during the interview when Greta stepped aside to a private room for nursing affairs and later revealed pictures of her four-month-old baby from his recent checkup. She described her son as a little Schmoo, signifying his lively energy and wisdom even at this young age. Additionally, Greta expressed her experiences of motherhood with her newborn, mentioning his comfortable sleep routine and her own parental delight in always wanting to check on her baby, leading to her feeling in a constant twilight state.
Greta Gerwig, also known for her directed film, Little Women, kept the birth date and name of her newest addition to the family undisclosed. The new member joins his two older siblings, bringing joy and fullness to their family of five. The screenwriting couple had previously welcomed their first child, a boy named Harold, in March 2019. Noah Baumbach also has a 13-year-old son from his former marriage with the actress, Jennifer Jason Leigh.
