Two months have passed since reality star Kourtney Kardashian and musician Travis Barker became parents. They recently gave the world the first glimpse of their newborn.
The couple had a baby boy on November 1st. However, they didn’t officially announce his arrival until now.
They took to Instagram to introduce their son to the world. The family was dressed in all black, holding the baby close. One of the pictures showed Kourtney nursing the baby, while another had Travis kissing his son. In all the photos, they were careful not to fully reveal the baby’s face. The caption was simple: “ROCKY 🖤”.
Before the baby’s arrival, Travis had revealed the name on the One Life One Chance podcast. They named him Rocky Thirteen. Travis had been mulling over the name for a while, as he shared on the Complex’s GOAT Talk video series.
The name has a deep significance for Travis. “Rocky George played guitar for Suicidal Tendencies,” he explained. It’s also a tribute to the iconic 1976 boxing movie, Rocky. The middle name, Thirteen, is due to Travis’s belief that it’s “the greatest number of all time.”
This isn’t the couple’s first rodeo with parenthood. They both have children from previous relationships. Kourtney is a mother to Mason Dash, 14, Penelope Scotland, 11, and Reign Aston, 9. Travis, on the other hand, has a stepdaughter Atiana, 24, and two biological children, Landon, 20, and Alabama, 17, with his ex, Shana Moakler.
