At the dawn of this year, something magical happened. Halle Bailey, known for her role as Ariel in “The Little Mermaid,” shared some big news. She and rapper DDG were blessed with their first child. During a heart-to-heart with PEOPLE, Halle let slip that DDG, or Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr. as he’s less commonly known, picked out the name. “It was actually my boyfriend’s idea,” she said, a smile in her voice. “We both just fell in love with it. And, I mean, who wouldn’t love the name Halo?”
