The well-known actor, Henry Golding, of Downtown Owl fame, has seen a delightful expansion of his family. He and his spouse, Liv, who is the creator of the fitness regimen FitSphere, recently publicized the birth of their second child. The tale of the baby’s birth was revealed on the business web page of FitSphere by Liv.
A heartwarming video, capturing the pair’s moments at the hospital with their newborn, was eventually shared by the parents. In the shared post, Liv reflected on the highs and lows of the childbirth journey. She also unveiled that the toddler came into their lives on September 9th at 9:03 AM. Their baby girl, whom they named Florence Likan Golding, and affectionately refer to as Flo, is the youngest member of the Golding family, joining her sister Lyla, who was born in March 2021.
Unfortunately, the newborn encountered a few health issues after her birth. Despite initially appearing healthy, the baby girl experienced breathing difficulties. Medical professionals discovered that she had inhaled meconium while still in the womb, which had led to pneumonia. The baby required a 10-day antibiotic course but was expected to recover fully without further health impact. Meanwhile, Liv had been released from the hospital with intentions to visit her newborn for providing milk and offering support.
After her discharge, Liv had to face certain unforeseen health problems that made her revisit the hospital. She was found to have a blood infection that required immediate medical attention and an extended stay in the hospital. Both mother and child are now recuperating. In reflecting on this, Liv humbly shared how the journey of healing from postpartum complications, a blood infection, embracing motherhood for the second time, and breastfeeding simultaneously has transformed her life.
