Hilary Duff is about to be a mom again! The star of “How I Met Your Father” is pregnant with her fourth child. This will be her third child with her husband, Matthew Koma. The announcement came in a festive way – via a holiday card.
The actress, also known for her role in “Younger”, posted a photo of the family’s Christmas card. The card was casually leaning against a piece of wood. It featured a picture of Hilary, Matthew, and their children. Hilary was cradling her baby bump. The card’s cheeky message? “So much for silent nights.”
The back of the card was also shared. It had pictures of the kids and a playful message. “Buckle up, Buttercups, we’re adding one more to this crazy bunch!” The card was signed off as “The Duff, Bair, Comrie crew.” Bair is Koma’s real last name (Matthew Koma is his stage name). Comrie is the surname of Hilary’s oldest son, Luca Cruz, 9, who she shares with her ex-husband, Mike Comrie.
Hilary and Matthew have two daughters together. Banks Violet is 5, and Mae James is 2. Hilary, who also starred in “Lizzie McGuire”, has been open about her home birth experiences. She shared raw images from Mae’s home birth in July 2021, just a few months after the baby’s arrival.
Hilary and Matthew’s love story began in 2015. They were working together on Hilary’s album “Breathe In. Breath Out.” They started dating the next year. However, they didn’t officially announce their relationship until 2017. That was when they made their red carpet debut. Their daughter Banks was born in October 2018. The couple got married the following year in a cozy backyard ceremony.
