Iskra Lawrence, the radiant Aerie model, is bubbling with joy. She’s expecting again! Together with her beau, Philip Payne, they’re set to welcome their second bundle of joy. “Finally, I get to spill the beans,” she exclaimed.
Nearly four years to the day, their first child, Alpha, made his grand entrance in April 2020. “Here we go, doubling the fun to a family of four,” Iskra shared, her excitement palpable. This time around, she’s teamed up with First Response for something special. They’re orchestrating a giveaway, a generous $20k split between two lucky individuals, aiming to support their fertility adventures. “Last time, Sara & Skye were the fortunate ones,” Iskra reminisced. “Their success stories, now with rainbow babies in arms, fill my heart.”
Remember Alpha’s arrival? It was a bit of a scare, with him taking a pause before taking his first breath. Iskra’s voice quivered, recalling the sight of his tiny, lifeless form. But then, the miracle of his first cry. “It was a whirlwind, but thanks to my incredible birth team, panic never set in,” she said, relief washing over her.
Iskra and Philip’s love story? It’s straight out of a fairy tale. They first locked eyes at a Grammy party in January 2018. Philip admits he’d noticed Iskra before, but that night was different. “Tried playing it cool,” he chuckled, recalling how he approached her with a mix of nerves and excitement. A simple question – “Are you in a relationship?” – and a number exchange later, the rest, as they say, is history.
