Acclaimed actress Jana Kramer, famous for her role in One Tree Hill, is now a mother of three. She, along with her fiancé, the former professional footballer Allan Russell, are overjoyed with their newborn, their first child together. In a statement released to PEOPLE, they expressed their gratitude for such a precious gift they were able to create together.
The ecstatic couple announced the birth of their baby boy, Roman James Russell, on November 13th. They had earlier revealed the news in June, subsequent to their pregnancy announcement. Despite considering names beginning with J or A, the couple decided on Roman James Russell, citing a fondness for alliteration. The singer of “Let It Burn” divulged that the name wasn’t inspired by anyone. They found Roman to be a strong name, while James was in honor of their grandfathers.
Jana Kramer and Allan Russell both have children from past relationships. Jana co-parents two children, Jolie, 7, and Jace, 4, with former NFL player Michael Caussin, while Allan has a child aged 16 from an earlier relationship. Jana had previously revealed her due date as December 2nd, but decided on an earlier c section because of a growing fibroid.
