Jessa Seewald, star of 19 Kids and Counting, has some exciting news. She’s just welcomed another little one into her family. She and her husband, Ben Seewald, are over the moon with their newest addition. “Baby is here and we couldn’t be more grateful!” she gushed.
Jessa gave her Instagram followers a sneak peek of the new arrival. She shared a touching image of her cradling her newborn in a hospital bed. The full announcement, however, was made on the family’s YouTube channel.
The couple’s bundle of joy arrived on December 19th. It’s a boy! But, they’re keeping us in suspense. They haven’t revealed his name yet.
Jessa, also a Counting On star, shared her birth story on YouTube. After laboring for about 12 hours, she was moved into her room. She got an epidural, but it wasn’t a perfect take. “It worked great on one side and it was, like, sort of spotty on the other side,” she said.
This birth is especially poignant for the couple. It comes a year after they suffered a miscarriage. Jessa opened up about the flood of emotions she felt when she held her son. “The sweetest moment [was] when they raised the baby up and put him on me,” she shared.
So, hats off to Jessa and Ben! We’re thrilled about the arrival of their baby boy. Can’t wait to find out what name they’ve picked for him.
