In the world of country music, it was revealed in April that Jimmie Allen was about to be a parent of four. The baby was with Alexis Gale, his wife and the mother of his other two children. Excitingly, the pair recently brought another life into the world.
Alexis used her social media platform on Instagram to deliver the happy news, revealing the birth of their son. Named Cohen Ace James, the little one arrived on September 27th into a joyful family. He was eagerly awaited by his elder sisters, Naomi Bettie and Zara James, the first two kids of the couple. Also part of the clan is Aadyn, a child from Allen’s previous relationship.
However, the sweet news of Alexis’s pregnancy was followed by the revelation of the couple’s separation. Allegedly, the “Be Alright” singer said in a now-removed Instagram post that they had decided to go their separate ways after the pregnancy news. Despite the allegations of sexual misconduct leveled against Allen, he and his spouse filed for divorce. Surprisingly though, in the wake of Cohen’s birth, they announced their reunion.
According to an exclusive statement to PEOPLE from Allen’s rep, the divorce was never completed legally. Instead, the pair decided to try and work things out. Alexis and Jimmie have shared a whirlwind romance. Their paths crossed in spring 2019 and a quick courtship led to a quiet wedding ceremony in June 2020. A year later, they celebrated again with a grand event attended by family and friends.
With the birth of Cohen, it’s congratulations to Alexis and Jimmie. Many hope that the pair find happiness as they concentrate on their growing family.
