Josh Duhamel, the actor, has a new addition to his family! He and his wife, Audra Mari, have welcomed their first child together. This is the second child for Josh.
The couple announced their baby’s birth on Instagram. They shared a black and white photo of their newborn’s tiny feet. The baby boy has been named Shepherd Lawrence Duhamel. His middle name is a tribute to his grandfather, Lawrence, who is known as Larry.
Shepherd is Audra’s first child. But for Josh, he’s a familiar face in the parenting game. He has a 10-year-old son, Axl, with his ex-wife, Fergie. Axl’s reaction to becoming a big brother was shared by Josh in a Parade interview last year. The actor recalled Axl’s concern about still being loved and being the firstborn.
Josh reassured him, of course. He also shared his thoughts on Axl as a big brother. He thinks Axl will be great at it, given his love for babies and his knack for handling younger kids.
Josh and Audra’s love story began in 2019. She was the former Miss World America then. Fast forward to Audra’s 28th birthday in January 2022, and Josh popped the question. They got hitched a few months later in Fargo, North Dakota. A year later, they announced they were expecting.
A hearty congratulations to Josh and Audra on their baby boy’s arrival! The joy of a new baby is always something special. And this one is no different. The couple must be over the moon with their little Shepherd.
