Christmas is a time for joy and celebration, and country music singer Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn are taking it up a notch. They’re expanding their little family. Yep, the couple is expecting baby number three. “Last Christmas of 4 🎄❤️ Merry Christmas everyone!!” they announced, sending festive vibes everywhere.
The “Heaven” singer and his wife didn’t just drop the news, they did it with a cozy family photo. Picture this: the family of four on a couch, a Christmas tree twinkling behind them. Their oldest daughter, Kingsley Rose, is all smiles, holding up the sonogram of her soon-to-be sibling.
This isn’t the first time Kane and Katelyn have chosen a holiday to share family news. Remember New Year’s Eve 2021? They surprised us all by revealing they had welcomed their second baby. They kept Katelyn’s pregnancy under wraps, a secret well-kept. Their daughter, Kodi Jane, was born on December 30, 2021.
They haven’t spilled the beans on the sex or due date of the new baby yet. But, given their current naming trend, it’s a good bet the baby’s name will start with a “K”.
Kane Brown, the “Bury Me in Georgia” singer, isn’t the only one with musical talent in the family. Katelyn had her own music career before she met Kane. She released her own music, but put her career on hold after meeting Kane in 2016. They dated for eight months, got engaged in 2017, and tied the knot in 2018 in Franklin, Tennessee.
Katelyn decided to switch gears and work on the business side of the music industry. But that doesn’t mean she stopped collaborating with Kane. They’ve worked together quite a bit throughout their relationship.
One of their most notable collaborations was a duet titled “Thank God”. They performed it together at the 2023 CMT Music Awards. Kane once told PEOPLE about collaborating with his wife, “My fans have been waiting five years for us to sing together.” He recalled choosing the song with his wife, “And then ‘Thank God’ came in and I was like, ‘This is the one.’ And she said the same thing, but I’m so glad I waited for this particular one to come out.”
Kane couldn’t help but gush about his wife. “I keep telling everybody she’s my secret weapon, but this song is just, like, us. I feel like it’s any relationship song or anybody that’s married or going to get married just knows. It’s like, ‘God put you in my life for a reason.’”
