Celebrated country singer Maddie Marlow, one-half of the musical duo, Maddie & Tae, has recently become a proud mother. She and her spouse, Jonah Font, enthusiastically shared the arrival of their first child, capturing the heartwarming moment with the words, “We are so in love.”
Announcing their impending parenthood back in April, Marlow and Font let out the exciting news that they would be welcoming a baby boy. Consequently, on September 9th at 4:03 PM, the couple joyfully became parents to Forrest Henry Font. The heartfelt story of Forrest’s birth unfolded, revealing a challenging 37 hours of labor, which ended with an emergency c-section. Marlow expressed gratitude towards the support of their medical team at St Thomas Midtown for their outstanding care and comfort in a tense situation.
A post from Marlow’s Instagram account captured the essence of new parenthood, where she expressed her overflowing love for baby Forrest. Talking about this magical time, the overjoyed mother referred to Forrest as a ‘perfect boy’ and a blessing from God. Marlow’s partner and fellow singer Taylor Dye, also a mother, was among those lining up to congratulate the couple, exclaiming, “PERFECT ANGEL! I love him so much! Way to go mom and dad!”
The pair, who met during their sophomore year of high school in Texas, have been inseparable ever since. Marlow received a promise ring from Font before she moved to Nashville at the age of 17 to chase her musical dreams. They took their relationship to the next level with an engagement in 2018, followed by marriage in 2019.
