Celebrated soap actress Melissa Claire Egan, beloved for her role as Chelsea Lawson on Young and the Restless, has shared the joyful news of the birth of her second child with husband Matt Katrosar. The couple is overjoyed with the newest addition to their family.
Earlier this year, they revealed both their impending arrival and pregnancy, together. The couple’s infant son was due in August but made his entrance a bit ahead of schedule on July 14th. The pair decided on the adorable name Jake Joseph Katrosar for their second son. Despite his earlier than expected arrival, they expressed sheer joy at welcoming him, saying they are thrilled to call him theirs.
Jake Joseph Katrosar joins older brother Caden Robert, who was born in August 2021. Interestingly, the All My Children star shared a joke about both of her sons being born in the same month when she announced her pregnancy. The new baby, however, will have a Cancer star sign, having been born in July.
Actress Egan and Pluto TV’s VP Matt Katrosar kindled their romance in February 2011 before getting engaged two years later. The happy couple walked down the aisle on July 26, 2014. He received high praise from his wife on his birthday in March, underlining his qualities as a husband, father, friend, and individual.
