The recently separated duo, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, became parents for the second time in July 2022 but opted to keep their baby’s name confidential. As it had been with their first child, this move was hardly unexpected, considering their penchant for privacy. However, following their concurrent court filings for divorce, the name of their second daughter has finally been disclosed.
Page Six managed to secure court documents for the boy band icon and the Game of Thrones actress, revealing the name of their second offspring. The estranged pair chose the name Delphine, of French descent, for their baby girl. In addition to Delphine, Jonas and Turner have a 3-year-old daughter Willa.
Prior to this, the lead singer of the Jonas Brothers had initiated divorce proceedings against his thespian spouse. Once the divorce was public, ensuing reports and additional court documents suggest a combative process. Turner, in response to Jonas’s filing, countersued, accusing her ex-partner of withholding their daughter’s passports and putting forth a demand to move them back to England, where they had resided since April. The divorced pair have concurred to keep their offspring in New York throughout the divorce and custody hearings.
The Do Revenge starlet and the “Cake by the Ocean” crooner initiated their romantic journey in November 2016. By May 2019, they exchanged vows in an unforeseen Las Vegas ceremony, followed by a grand wedding in France later that month. In his divorce papers, Jonas declared the marriage was “irretrievably broken”. In the following days, both shared identical statements on their personal social media, declaring, “After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
