The celebrated star of Bachelor, Nick Viall, recently divulged that he was awaiting the birth of his first-born with fiancée Natalie Joy. The two have now made known the gender of their bundle of joy. As stated by the couple, their baby-to-be is a girl.
Nick and Natalie took to video to disclose the gender, with a footage showing them at home with a black balloon marked with question marks. The balloon was hung on a string interspersed with small pink and blue balloons. The two grabbed hold of each other’s hand, while Natalie steadied the balloon for Nick to burst. Out streamed tiny pink balloons and confetti, revealing that their baby is a girl. During a chat with PEOPLE recently, Nick offered some intel on the name selection, indicating that they’ve settled on a favorite but are waiting until the birth to finalize the decision.
The much-in-love couple also discussed Natalie’s early pregnancy days in the interview with PEOPLE. Natalie elucidated her unique reveal of the news to her partner, stating, “I had two affirmatory pregnancy tests and bought baby clothes. I then tucked them away in a drawer, knowing Nick would find them when we were fixing dinner together. Needless to say, he was taken aback.” Acknowledging their initial challenge with keeping the news under wraps, Nick added, “We were so exhilarated that we found it hard not to spill the beans. Even though reticence is often advised in the early stages due to potential complications, we couldn’t wait to break the news to our loved ones.”
Nick and Natalie sparked their relationship in 2020, although it was kept under wraps until January 2021. The privacy veil was lifted when Nick disclosed on his podcast, “The Viall Files,” that the surgical technician initiated contact. In January of this year, the lovebirds made their engagement official.
