Oh boy, the stork’s been busy! Allyson Felix, that superstar on the track, just expanded her squad. She and her hubby, Kenneth Ferguson, are all smiles with the arrival of their bundle of joy. Back in November, they dropped the news – baby number two was on the way.
April 10th was the day their lives changed again. “We are overjoyed to welcome our son,” they said. Little Kenneth Maurice Ferguson III has entered the stage, but get this – they’re calling him Trey. Cute, right? Trey’s got a big sister, Camryn, who’s now five and probably super excited about her new role.

During a heart-to-heart with PEOPLE, Allyson opened up about her journey. This time around was a stark contrast to her first go with Camryn, which was honestly pretty scary. Severe preeclampsia at 32 weeks and an emergency c-section? Terrifying. “As a Black woman… I desperately wanted a joyful birth experience I could celebrate,” she shared. Thankfully, her doctor was a rockstar, making her feel seen, heard, and safe.
Allyson didn’t stop there. She had a doula who was basically her birth superhero. And guess what? She achieved her dream of an unmedicated VBAC. “Powerful, challenging, healing, and so beautiful,” she described. Now, she’s more pumped than ever to fight for Black maternal health. Because when we really listen and support women, magic happens.
