Nikki Mudarris, star of Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood, and her partner, basketball athlete LiAngelo Ball, celebrated the arrival of their first child together in July. The birth of their son, named LaVelo Anthony Ball, transformed their duo into a family unit of three. The baby’s name, revealed by the couple a month prior to his arrival, is a blend of two names from LiAngelo’s side of the family. LaVelo’s first name is taken from the first three letters of LiAngelo’s father’s name, LaVar, while Anthony is derived from part of the name of LiAngelo’s brother, LaMelo. The youngest child of the family, LaMelo Ball is a professional basketball player with the NBA team, the Charlotte Hornets.
