News broke a fortnight ago that reality TV personality Kourtney Kardashian and musician Travis Barker had become parents to a baby together. Now, more information about the baby, including the birth date and name, has come to light. The Blast was the first to disclose the news after procuring a copy of the baby’s birth certificate.
The certificate indicates that Kourtney delivered her fourth child at Los Angeles’ Cedar’s Sinai Medical Center on November 1st. The couple named their baby boy Rocky Thirteen Barker. In June, they had made public that they were expecting a boy, and Travis revealed the baby’s name just days before his birth, during the One Life One Chance podcast, which was broadcast on October 30th.
Before disclosing the baby’s name during the October 30th podcast, Travis commented in July, during Complex’s GOAT Talk video series, that the name has been on his mind lately. He explained that the name pays homage to Rocky George, the renowned guitarist for Suicidal Tendencies, and to the iconic 1976 film, Rocky, which he referred to as “the greatest boxing movie of all time.” He also shared the story behind the baby’s middle name, suggesting that 13 was “the greatest number of all time,” and also noted that Rocky is Kris Jenner – Kourtney’s mother’s – 13th grandchild.
Kourtney and Travis also have children from previous relationships. Kourtney co-parents three kids with her ex, Scott Disick: Mason Dash, 13, Penelope Scotland, 11, and Reign Aston, 8. Meanwhile, Travis also has three children from his previous marriage to Shanna Moakler: Landon, 20, Alabama, 17, and stepdaughter Atiana, 24.
