Sarah Herron, the reality star, has some heartwarming news to share. As we usher in 2024, she and her husband Dylan Brown are expecting twins!
This announcement comes almost a year after the couple suffered a tragic loss. Their son Oliver was born prematurely at 24 weeks and sadly didn’t survive.
Sarah took to Instagram to share the news. She posted a video of her and Dylan snorkeling with turtles, a peaceful and serene moment. But the real surprise came at the end of the video.
She showed sonogram images that were hanging on her fridge. Two babies were clearly visible. She added a touching text, “Oliver has two turtles to watch over.” The video was set to Kasey Musgraves’ song “Rainbow.”
But there was another reveal on her Instagram Stories. She accidentally let slip the sex of her twins. They’re expecting baby girls!
Sarah had been reflecting on Oliver’s upcoming birthday on January 28th. She shared, “Just BAWLED my eyes out in therapy. My grief for Oliver is heavy right now as his heavenly birthday [is] 12 days away. It hurts so bad, and simultaneously I know he’s sending me these little girls to comfort me right now.”
Sarah and Dylan’s journey to parenthood hasn’t been easy. They’ve been quite open about their struggles with infertility and their IVF journey. Despite the loss of their son, Sarah doesn’t regret a single thing.
She penned a heartfelt note about Oliver’s loss. “It took 240 days of IVF injections to start our family. Nearly 2 years and over 300 needles. But when we lost our beautiful son at 24 weeks… he was still worth every shot.”
