Tennis superstar Serena Williams and Reddit’s co-founder Alexis Ohanian are now a family of four! The couple have announced the arrival of their second child and also disclosed the infant’s name. The birth news was first disclosed by Serena herself when she sported a tailored mermaid dress that highlighted her growing baby bump during the recent Met Gala. Alexis surprised everyone earlier this month by revealing the baby’s gender with a unique drone display. The couple’s second daughter, named Adira River Ohanian, has finally made her debut. The 23-time Grand Slam winner posted the first family picture showcasing everyone’s exuberance.
Adira’s arrival adds another member to the family which includes Serena, Alexis and their first-born daughter Alexis Olympia. Alexis’s social media post also featured Olympia spending time with her newborn sister. He expressed his gratitude for the happiness filled home with a healthy newborn and an equally healthy wife. He applauded Serena for the unique gift and thanked the medical team for their service. He posted an emotional sentiment aligning Adira’s middle name with peace and wellbeing like a river’s waves.
As per Alexis, Olympia was thrilled about welcoming a sibling into the family. He recently told PEOPLE that she was extremely eager for the arrival of her sister and had been praying and asking for the same for a long time.
