Kali Uchis, the voice behind “Moonlight,” is now a mom! She and her beau, rapper Don Toliver, just dropped the news. They’ve welcomed their first child into the world. “You are everything we could have hoped for & more.” Short but oh-so-sweet.
Back in January, the duo spilled the beans. They were expecting! Fast forward, and here we are: a baby boy has arrived. His name? Well, that’s still a mystery, along with his birth date. But hey, all in good time, right?
On Instagram, Kali couldn’t hide her joy. She was all, “Thank you God for our beautiful healthy baby boy, & thank you all for the Good energy along the way. may our home & your homes forever be blessed with peace, happiness & health.” Gratitude, pure and simple.
Oh, and did you catch this? Kali Uchis nailed her first #1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart with Orquídea. She was over the moon, sharing her thanks and hinting at her baby’s role in this journey. “Our first #1 album🥹grateful for the constant growth, in every way🫶& for all of you & your well wishes, in a world full of people that seek to tear others down. if anyone’s proud I hope baby will be so proud of all we are accomplishing together while in my belly.” Talk about a powerhouse.
Kali and Don? Yeah, they’ve been an item since 2021. Don dished the deets to W Magazine while hyping up his album Life of a DON. He was like, “We’re not crazy public or nothing like that. We just vibe.” Keeping it chill, as always.
