So, guess what happened last week? Country singer Parker McCollum dropped some pretty big news. Him and his wife, Hallie Ray Light, are expecting! Yup, a baby’s on the way. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any cuter, they went ahead and shared the baby’s sex.
In a heartwarming Instagram video, set to Parker’s own tune, “Things I Never Told You,” we see them strolling. Parker’s holding onto a pair of tiny cowboy boots. Both donned in blue jackets, they subtly hinted, “Baby BOY McCollum! we love you, little cowboy 💙.” No word yet on when the little dude is due, but anticipation’s high.
Oh, and the comments section? It’s pure gold. Parker, the “Handle On You” singer, listed out some potential names. We’re talking Keaton Cadillac McCollum and King Cowboy McCollum, among others. He’s like, “Pick from those when you get a chance Hallie will ya?” Classic Parker.
Their love story’s pretty sweet, too. Started dating in 2019 after a mutual friend intro. Fast forward to July 2021, they’re engaged. Then, bam! Married at Boxwood Manor in Tomball, Texas by March 28, 2022. On their first anniversary, Hallie’s Instagram post was all heart eyes. “One year! wow!!” she exclaimed. She’s all in, praying their kids feel a love like theirs. “I promise to continue choosing you every single day,” she wrote. Cheers to that!
And now, they’re expanding their crew. A baby boy McCollum is on the horizon.
